Laura Keller

Laura Keller is a seasoned freelance conference interpreter with expertise in simultaneous and consecutive interpreting from English, French, and Italian into German, and vice versa, established in 2012 with AIIC - The International Association of Conference Interpreters. Based in Geneva, Laura is accredited to the European Institutions and actively advocates for minority languages through previous roles, including a position as Scientific Advisor with the Swiss Federal Administration, where focus was placed on language policy and plurilingualism. Laura's academic involvement includes serving as an interpreter trainer and doctoral assistant at the University of Geneva, leading practical and research training for aspiring interpreters while completing a PhD in Interpreting Studies. Additional experience encompasses roles in media and public service, fostering connections among Switzerland's linguistic communities and engaging a diverse audience within the United Nations framework.
