Martha Soehren, PhD has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. In 1987, they began their career in the US Army, serving as an Executive Officer and Management Analyst until 2000. From 1993 to 1995, they worked as the Director of Human Resources and L&D at The Children's Center of Wayne County. Starting in 2000, they joined Comcast University as the Vice President of Learning and Development for the Midwest Division, where they established centralized learning programs and managed all functional L&D for the division until 2004.

In 2001, Martha became the Chief Talent Development Officer at Comcast, overseeing learning and development, leadership development, and talent management for an employee base of 100K. Their role expanded in 2012 to include additional responsibilities for Talent Management, and they led a team of 500 L&D and Talent Management professionals. Martha retired from this position in July 2020.

Since then, Martha has remained active in the field of executive coaching and leadership development. In 2021, they founded Soehren and Associates, LLC, where they serve as an Executive Development Advisor and Coach. Martha also holds coaching roles at AIIR Consulting and Cognota, working as a Senior Executive Coach and CLO Coach respectively since 2022.

Martha Soehren, PhD completed their high school education at Union Pines High School from 1968 to 1972. Martha then pursued higher education at various institutions. Martha earned a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Detroit Mercy. Martha also obtained a Bachelor of Technology Degree in Occupational Technology from Jacksonville State University. Furthermore, they completed a Diploma in Management/Industrial Engineering from the US Army Management Engineering College. Lastly, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies with a cognate in Organizational Behavior from Wayne State University.
