Xavier Hernández, PhD

Xavier Hernández, PhD, has extensive work experience in executive coaching and leadership development. Xavier began their career in 2002 as a Managing Director and Principal at Meridian Consulting, where they focused on advancing talent and igniting business results. In 2022, they joined RAC Leadership as a Senior Consultant and Executive Coach. Prior to that, they held positions as a Senior Executive Consultant and Alliance Partner at Leadership Development Worldwide, a Senior Consultant and Executive & TE Coach at AIIR Consulting, and a Senior Executive Consultant / Coach at FMG Leading. Xavier also served as an Executive Strengths Coach at The Marcus Buckingham Company, an ADP Company. Earlier in their career, they worked as an Executive Coach at the Center for Creative Leadership and as an Executive Coach at Coaching Right Now®. Xavier also held positions as a Senior Consultant and Executive Coach at The Bader Group and as an Achieve Performance Expert + Coach at The Achieve Institute. Xavier completed their PhD and has focused their career on organization development, corporate and executive leadership, and talent management.

Xavier Hernández, PhD, has an extensive education history in the field of psychology. Xavier first attended California State University, Fullerton from 1990 to 1996, where they obtained a BA in Psychology with a specialization in Human Services.

Afterwards, they pursued further education at Alliant International University, San Diego Campus. From 2002 to 2004, they earned an M.S. degree in Dual Clinical and Industrial/Organizational Psychology. Xavier continued their studies at Alliant International University from 2002 to 2009, completing a Ph.D. degree in Dual Clinical and Industrial/Organizational Psychology.

In addition to their academic achievements, Xavier Hernández has also obtained several certifications. Xavier became a Board Certified Coach (BCC) from the Center for Credentialing & Education in February 2012. Xavier also obtained certifications in Hogan Assessments, Workplace Big 5, OSI Assessments, CCL Assessments, Lominger VOICES, and StandOut Strengths Coach. Furthermore, they acquired certifications in MSCEIT (Emotional Intelligence) and Clear Leadership facilitation.
