Dario Cardamone

Dario Cardamone is a Deep Learning Engineer at AIKO, having joined the company in September 2024. Prior to this role, Cardamone served as a Senior Data Scientist and Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at Fondazione Toscana Life Sciences from September 2019 to September 2024 and as a Senior Consultant at Moviri from January 2021 to July 2022. Earlier experience includes a position as a Data Scientist at GSK from September 2017 to September 2019 and a Research Assistant role at Zuse Institute Berlin from August 2015 to October 2016, focusing on the design of experiments integrating mathematical optimization, machine learning, and statistics. Cardamone holds a PhD in Physics of Complex Systems from Università degli Studi di Torino, alongside a Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics from both Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna and Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, and a Bachelor of Mathematics from Università degli Studi di Torino.
