Stephany Dionysio

Stephany Dionysio has had a diverse range of work experience. Their most recent role is as the VP of Engineering at AIKON since April 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Engineering Manager at wefox from November 2022 to April 2023. Stephany also has experience in a technology and product role at a Stealth Startup from August 2021 to April 2023. Before that, they were the Fintech Product and Engineering Squads Leader at Grupo Boticário from August 2020 to August 2021.

Stephany's previous experience includes being the Head of Technology Architecture at Grupo Marista from September 2018 to August 2020, where they led a team of architects and oversaw the digital products and platforms used by different business units. Stephany also worked as an Acceleration Partner at the United Nations Foundation from September 2019 to July 2020 and served as a committee member for Impact Startups during August 2019.

In addition, Stephany has experience as a Peer Reviewer for the Common Ground Research Networks, where they reviewed cutting-edge technology research papers from January 2019 to June 2020. Stephany also worked as a Smart Cities Researcher at Universidade Federal do Paraná from August 2017 to February 2019, focusing on quality of service and data protection strategies for IoT devices in smart cities as part of their Ph.D. program.

Prior to that, Stephany worked as a Senior Enterprise Solutions Architect at Telefónica from February 2015 to September 2018 and as a Software Engineer at Vetorlog from January 2012 to February 2015.

Stephany Dionysio's education history includes a variety of academic experiences. In 2009, they began their studies at Universidade Federal do Paraná, where they earned a Technology Degree in Software Engineering from 2009 to 2012. In 2014, they furthered their education at the Federal University of Technology - Parana, completing a Master of Technology (MTech) in Applied Computing and Distributed Systems from 2014 to 2016.

Seeking to expand their knowledge in specific fields, Stephany pursued additional certifications and attended various programs. In 2017, they attended USP - Universidade de São Paulo's Winter School, focusing on Advanced Science on Smart Cities. In 2018, they participated in the Technology Innovation for Sustainable Development program at EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne). In 2019, they received a Certificate in Entrepreneurship & Business Strategies from The Wharton School and completed the Global Challenges in Business course at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Stephany's pursuit of knowledge continued in subsequent years. In 2020, they obtained a Certificate in Technology Entrepreneurship: Lab to Market from Harvard Business School Online. In 2021, they completed a Product Management course at Cursos PM3. Most recently, in 2022, they enrolled in a Programme at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), specializing in Strategy, Finance, and Leadership.

Additionally, Stephany has obtained several certifications to further their professional development. Stephany completed the Startup School Certified program with Y Combinator in March 2022. In 2019, they attained a certification in Private Equity and Venture Capital from Università Bocconi. In 2017, they obtained certification in Emerging Technologies (IoT, Big Data, Augmented Reality, Cloud Computing, and CDN) from Yonsei University. Stephany also acquired further expertise through certifications in Project Management from UC Irvine in 2019 and in the Prague Summer School on Development, Sustainability, and Globalization from SCHOLA EMPIRICA (SE) in 2019.
