Bilal Choksi

Bilal Choksi serves as the Director of Real Estate at Alberta Investment Management Corporation (AIMCo) since July 2018, having advanced through roles as Senior Portfolio Manager and Portfolio Manager in the Real Estate sector. Prior to AIMCo, Bilal Choksi was the Manager of Private Markets at Washington University in St. Louis from December 2015 to May 2018 and worked as an Associate at Shearman & Sterling LLP from September 2012 to December 2015. Bilal Choksi began the early career path at WestNoble Consulting Group as Managing Director and held various positions including Summer Associate at Shearman & Sterling LLP, Summer Law Student at Philadelphia Legal Assistance, and Commodities Analyst at RBC Capital Markets. Bilal Choksi earned a JD from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School and a Bachelor of Science degree from The Wharton School, combining studies in Finance, Management, and Modern Middle Eastern Studies. Additionally, Bilal Choksi is admitted to the New York Bar.
