Micheal Hatter

Micheal Hatter has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Micheal started their career at TELUS in 2006 as a Network Quality Assurance Analyst. In 2008, they joined Honeywell Process Solutions as a Network Security Consultant, where they worked until 2011. Following that, they worked at the Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission as a Network Security Analyst from 2011 to 2014. Since 2014, Micheal has been employed at the Alberta Investment Management Corporation (AIMCo), where they have held various roles including Security Architect, Senior Manager of Information Security and Governance, and currently serves as the Director of Technology Platforms and Security.

Michael Hatter has a degree in Network Engineering Technology from NAIT (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology). Micheal has also obtained several certifications including GIAC Exploit Researcher and Advanced Penetration Tester (GXPN), Information Systems Security Architecture Professional (CISSP-ISSAP), Certified Information Systems Auditor® (CISA), GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), GIAC Certified Perimeter Protection Analyst (GPPA), and Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP). Additionally, they have a certification as a VMware Certified Professional (VCP).
