Kelly W. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Their most recent position was as the CTO at Aimiable, starting in February 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Staff Engineer at Twitter until November 2022. Before joining Twitter, they were a Principal Software Engineer Consultant at Spotify from January 2020 to February 2021.

In 2018, Kelly joined Stride Consulting as a Senior Principal Engineer, where they later became a Principal Software Engineer. Stride specializes in delivering custom web applications and Kelly was involved in understanding business problems, scoping and prioritizing features, releasing software, and obtaining feedback from users and stakeholders. Kelly was with the company until 2021.

Kelly also worked as a Principal Software Engineer Consultant at both Stash from April 2018 to April 2019 and PolicyGenius Inc. from 2015 to 2018. At PolicyGenius, Kelly served as an Engineering Manager while also working as a Senior Full-Stack Engineer. The company aimed to revolutionize the insurance shopping experience and make it more transparent for online consumers.

Prior to that, they worked at ThoughtWorks as a Senior Application Developer from 2011 to 2015, where they were involved in software design, creation, and delivery for clients in various sectors. Kelly W. attended the University of Virginia from 2004 to 2008 and obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Anthropology and Economics. Following this, from 2009 to 2011, Kelly pursued a Master of Information Technology degree at Virginia Tech.
