Andrés Uriza

Andrés Uriza is an accomplished data engineering professional currently serving as the Lead Data Engineer at Aimpoint Digital since August 2024. Previously, Andrés held multiple roles at Factored from September 2021 to August 2024, progressing from Data Engineer Trainee to Staff Data Engineer. Andrés has a strong academic background, having been an Assistant Professor at Universidad Sergio Arboleda, coordinating the decision-making and applied Operation Research area within the Industrial Engineering program while teaching various undergraduate courses. Experience also includes consulting for TRANSMILENIO, involvement with the World Bank Group on sustainable transportation projects, and analytical roles at Ajover S.A. and as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Universidad de los Andes. Andrés holds two Master's degrees in Industrial and Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in both fields, all from Universidad de los Andes.
