Gracia Silvestre Tormo

Gracia SILVESTRE TORMO is an accomplished professional in the field of bioenergy and biorrefineries, currently serving as a researcher at ainia centro tecnológico since September 2020. Prior experience includes a role as a project management consultant at ZABALA Innovation Consulting, where responsibilities involved identifying and managing funding opportunities for R&D projects at regional, national, and European levels. Gracia also held the position of Biogas Project Manager at ainia centro tecnológico from 2010 to 2018, focusing on optimizing anaerobic digestion processes. Previous research experience includes a Ph.D. research stage at VŠCHT Praha and pre-doctoral studies at GIRO Technological Center, both centered on enhancing biogas production through anaerobic digestion techniques. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and additional degrees in advanced studies in Environmental Engineering and Chemical Engineering from the Universitat de Barcelona and University of Valencia, respectively.
