Shoichi OKUYAMA

President at AIPPI

Shoichi Okuyama has held the position of President at AIPPI - International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property since September 2022. Prior to this, they served as Principal at Okuyama & Sasajima since 2000.

Shoichi Okuyama has an extensive education history. Shoichi first attended Waseda University from 1976 to 1980, earning a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering. Following this, they pursued further studies at Iowa State University from 1980 to 1982, completing a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Chemistry. Okuyama then went on to the University of Chicago, where they obtained a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from 1982 to 1987. It should be noted that the start and end years, as well as the specific degree name, for one of their education experiences at Waseda University are not provided.
