William Coker has had a diverse work experience in emergency medical services and fire departments. William started their career at Central EMS in 2010, where they worked as a Field Training Officer for five years. In 2015, they joined the Bella Vista Fire Department as an Assistant EMS Coordinator, Firefighter, and Paramedic, a position they held until 2018. During the same period, William also worked at the City of Pea Ridge, Arkansas, as a Captain and EMS Coordinator at the Pea Ridge Fire Department. In 2018, they joined the Bentonville Fire Department as a Firefighter and Paramedic, a role they held until 2019. From 2019 to 2021, William worked at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services as a Paramedic and subsequently as an Emergency Management Specialist/Operations Officer. Currently, they are employed at Air Ambulance Worldwide, where they started as a Flight Paramedic in 2020 and has now transitioned into the role of Clinical Operations Manager in 2022.

William Coker attended Colorado State University from 2018 to 2020, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice/Homeland Security/Emergency Management. Prior to that, from 2010 to 2014, they attended NorthWest Arkansas Community College and obtained an Associate's degree in Applied Science, specializing in Paramedicine. Additionally, during their time at NorthWest Arkansas Community College, they studied Homeland Security, Law Enforcement, Firefighting, and Related Protective Services. Lastly, in 2015 and 2016, they attended Southern Arkansas University Tech, where they pursued a degree in Fire Science with a focus on Fire Science and Firefighting.
