Garry Kingshott

Garry Kingshott is an experienced business executive and independent director, having served in various leadership roles over the course of their career. Garry is currently an independent director at Air Astana and a board adviser at Cebu Pacific Air, where they have been since May 2008. Prior to that, they were the chief commercial officer at Jet Airways from March 2006 to March 2007, and before that, they were the CEO of Melbourne Convention Bureau from December 2003 to February 2006.

Kingshott began their career in 1979 as GM Marketing at Safcol Holdings Ltd, before moving to South Australian Brewing Company in 1987, where they served as General Manager- Marketing and Sales for three years. In 1990, they joined ANSETT AUSTRALIA LIMITED as CEO Ansett International, a position they held for 11 years until 2001. After a brief stint as Chief Executive at Wunderman Cato Johnson from 1985 to 1987, they rejoined the airline industry in 2007 as CEO of Jet Lite, before taking on their current role at Air Astana.
