Christopher R. Chilcott is a seasoned professional in the aviation and design sectors, currently serving as the Manager of Onboard Product and Configuration at Air Canada since January 2023. With extensive experience at RECARO Aircraft Seating from April 2012 to January 2023, Christopher progressed from Senior Industrial Designer, focusing on customer engagement in the Americas, to developing innovative seating solutions, including the first lie-flat business class seat. Prior experience includes a design internship at Studio Forakis and a collaboration project with VW Group during master’s studies in Transport/Automotive Design at Scuola Politecnica di Design. An educational background in Automotive Design from Swansea Metropolitan University further complements a career that began with sales roles at various retail outlets.
