Lonnell began their career in 1997 as a Concierge/Customer Service Representative at United Airlines, where they provided personalized service to VIP passengers. In 1998, they transitioned to the role of Flight Attendant at the same company, ensuring passenger safety and providing high-quality customer service. Lonnell then worked as a Contact Center Manager at Impact Resource Group from 2002 to 2005. Following this, they joined Boeing as a Corporate Flight Attendant, where they performed safety-related inflight duties and cared for passengers on assigned flights. Lonnell also briefly served as a Freelance Photographer at The Wall Street Journal in 2016. Lonnell worked as a Blogger at HuffPost in 2017 and as a Guest Speaker at Prudential Financial the same year. From 2014 to 2016, Lonnell worked as a Social Media Correspondent at CBS, engaging with audiences on various hot topics and appearing on different shows. Lonnell also had the opportunity to serve on the Red Carpet at prestigious events such as The Emmys and BET Awards. In 2016, Lonnell was a Guest Speaker and Author at ABC News, where they shared their story and principles for manifesting unique experiences in life. Additionally, they worked as a Contact Tracing Investigator at Boeing from 2020 to 2021. Currently, Lonnell works as a Corporate Flight Attendant at Aircare International.

Lonnell W. obtained a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications from Pepperdine University, where they enrolled from 1986 to 1989.
