Amani Williams

Amani Williams has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. They began their career at The Burr Magazine as a Photo Editor in 2016 while also working as a Photography Intern/Freelancer at Akron Life Magazine. In the same year, they also served as a Provost Department Assistant at Kent State University.

In 2013, Amani joined Jumpstreet Indoor Trampoline Park as a Team Supervisor, where they supervised team members for four years. They then worked at Lifetouch as a Staff Photographer, traveling throughout the state to shoot studio portraits and ensuring the set was organized and well-maintained.

Moving forward, Amani joined Outdoor Voices in 2017 as a Brand Representative before becoming a CX Associate. They later took on the role of Content and Community Coordinator for The Recreationalist, where they planned and managed the content calendar for the website and social media platforms. In their subsequent position as a Content Strategy Specialist, Amani led Outdoor Voices' Instagram strategy and collaborated with other teams to develop user-generated content strategies.

Following their time at Outdoor Voices, Amani worked at Pattern as a Social Media Manager from 2020 to 2021 and then joined Wild One as a Social and Community Manager until 2023. Their most recent position is at AIR COMPANY, where they currently serve as a Social Media Manager.

Amani Williams attended Kent State University from 2013 to 2016. During that time, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Visual Journalism, with a concentration in Photo Journalism, and a minor in Media Literacy.
