Mihir Shah

Mihir Shah has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Mihir is currently working as a Research And Development Chemist at Air Company since July 2021. Prior to this, they served as a Graduate Student Research Assistant, and later as a Graduate Student Assistant, at the University at Buffalo from August 2019 to July 2021. During their time there, they collaborated with the R&D team in the field of Materials Science, specifically in engineering nickel-based catalysts for methane dry reforming. Their work resulted in the successful design of Ni-ZrO2 catalysts, leading to high activity and syngas production rates at low temperatures.

Before their graduate studies, Mihir held positions at Sparklez Inks as a Technical Head from May 2018 to July 2019, and as a Research Assistant from July 2016 to April 2017. Mihir also gained experience as a Process Engineer at Kemit Chemicals Pvt. Ltd. - India from August 2017 to April 2018. Additionally, they worked as an intern at Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers Limited in June 2016, where they oversaw product development, conducted on-site field surveys, and researched ways to reduce waste release.
