Nafia Guljar has a diverse work experience. Nafia is currently a Scientist at Engitix Therapeutics since 2022. Nafia was a Fragrance Illustrator and Writer at an illustrated nose from 2016 to 2021 and contributed to the ‘Beyond Fashion and Fragrance’ issue, article titled ‘It Takes Me Right Back - Night-blooming Jasmine’ which was nominated for a Fragrance Foundation UK Jasmine Award in the Short Piece category. Nafia also filmed a short YouTube video with LUSH UK, speaking about a ‘Signature Scent vs Scent Wardrobe’. Nafia was a Higher Scientific Officer and Scientific Officer at The Institute of Cancer Research from 2018 to 2021 and a Cancer Biobanking at King's College London from 2017 to 2018. Nafia was a Research Technician at Imperial College London from 2015 to 2017 and an Expert Perfume Sales Assistant at Bloom Perfumery from 2015 to 2016. Nafia was a Sales Assistant at LUSH | UK & Europe from 2012 to 2014 and an Intern at The Institute of Cancer Research from 2014 to 2015.
Nafia Guljar completed their A Levels at Henrietta Barnett School in 2007-2009, majoring in Biology, Chemistry, and English Literature. Nafia then attended Kingston University from 2009-2012, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biology, General. Finally, they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Molecular Pathology and Genomics from Barts Cancer Institute, Queen Mary University of London, in 2013-2014.
