Joshua Stearns, FP-C, is an experienced Flight Paramedic at Air Evac Lifeteam since May 2016, where responsibilities include ensuring the safety of crew and patients during flight operations and providing critical care aboard a Bell 206 helicopter. Previously, Joshua served as Emergency Manager and Incident Commander at BCFS Health & Human Services from March 2014 to November 2022, leading response efforts during significant disasters and developing a health tracking system adopted by the CDC. With a rich background as a Paramedic and Public Relations Specialist at Piedmont Rescue & EMS, an EMS Instructor at Gadsden State Community College, and a DHS/FEMA contractor, Joshua brings a diverse skill set to emergency and health management. Education includes a BA in Intelligence Studies from American Public University System and an Associate of Science in Paramedic from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
