Global Quality & Continuous Improvement Director / Chief Industrial Auditor at Air Liquide

Bertrand Lancien has extensive work experience in various industries including manufacturing, automotive, and renewable energy. Bertrand began their career as a Development Engineer at Autoliv in 1997 before moving on to Johnson Controls Automotive as a Program Manager in 1999.

In 2005, Lancien joined Faurecia as a Program Quality Manager and later became the Supplier Quality Manager for their China Division.

In 2010, they joined Alstom Power as the Director of Quality Assurance for their Nuclear division and later became the Director of Projects, Construction & Services Quality for Europe.

Lancien's most recent position was with Air Liquide, where they served as the Global Quality & Continuous Improvement Director / Chief Industrial Auditor since 2015. Throughout their career, Lancien has gained expertise in ISO 9001 Certification, Quality Management Systems, Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement.

Bertrand Lancien completed their Baccalauréat in Mechanical Engineering from LT Melun between 1986 and 1989. Bertrand later obtained their Master of Engineering in Engineering Mechanics from SUPMICROTECH-ENSMM between 1992 and 1995.
