Raymond Soo

Raymond Soo has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Raymond began their career at Intel as a Software Engineer from June 2005 to February 2008. Raymond then joined Manulife Financial as a Senior Analyst Programmer from March 2008 to June 2008. After that, they worked at EssentialBiz Sdn Bhd as a Software Developer from July 2008 to December 2008, where they focused on R&D and the deployment of a Life-caching app for Nokia S60 series smartphones. Raymond then moved on to Quintiq, where they served as an Optimization Expert from January 2009 to June 2014, leading developer teams and collaborating on large-scale projects. Following their time at Quintiq, they joined DHL as a Senior Consultant from July 2014 to March 2020, providing consultancies and coaching for dispatching solutions on a global scale. Currently, Raymond works at Air Liquide, where they have held various roles since March 2020, including Digital Optimization Specialist, Data Acceleration Lead, and currently, AI Initiative Lead.

Raymond Soo completed their education in a chronological manner, beginning with a Diploma in Computer Science from Tunku Abdul Rahman University College (TARC) from 2001 to 2003. Raymond then pursued a Bachelor of Computer Science (Hons) Degree (1st class) in Artificial Intelligence at Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) from 2003 to 2005. Raymond further advanced their studies at UTAR by obtaining a Masters in Computer Science with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence from 2006 to 2014. Additionally, they hold a certification as an IREB Certified Professional for Requirements Engineering from IREB GmbH.
