Brendon Smith has extensive experience in the aviation industry, specifically with Air New Zealand, where responsibilities have included serving as the Manager Base Maintenance AKL since August 2012, overseeing a team of 180 staff engaged in scheduled and unscheduled maintenance for a diverse fleet of aircraft. Previous roles at Air New Zealand included Manager Production Support and Component, Manager Production Support, Manager Base Maintenance, and Production Leader, with an initial position as a Tradesman starting in February 1994. Brendon Smith holds a Master of Technology (MTech) in RTLS from academyEX, completed in June 2021, and a Trade Certificate in Aircraft Engineering from Air New Zealand, conferred in 1994.
