Elfrik Metahysa

Elfrik Metahysa is an experienced Product Owner and Tech Lead currently driving innovation at Air New Zealand as part of the Next Gen Disrupts Integrations team since June 2023. With a strong background in software engineering and technical leadership across various organizations, including asBuilt Digital and IAG, Elfrik has successfully contributed to core business APIs, cloud-based solutions, and high-revenue eCommerce platforms. Previous roles include leading the development of the award-winning Airband™ product at Air New Zealand and implementing Open Banking standards at Westpac New Zealand. Elfrik holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from The University of Auckland and a Web Design Certificate from Sessions College.
