Keryn Christiansen

Keryn Christiansen is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in user experience (UX) strategy and interaction design. Currently serving as a Senior UX Strategist at Air New Zealand since November 2025, Keryn also holds a role as Paper Leader for Year 3 Interaction Design at Auckland University of Technology, teaching students in their final year. Keryn has a robust freelance practice with pixeldust, offering web and graphic design and UX consulting services. Previous roles include Senior Design Researcher at Serko and User Experience Researcher at Xplor Technologies, focusing on enhancing user experiences in various digital products. Keryn’s background includes contract positions at notable organizations such as ASB Bank and Digital Arts Network New Zealand, in addition to prior design work for North Shore City Council. Keryn holds a Graduate Diploma in Multimedia and a Certificate in Graphic Design, both from Auckland University of Technology.
