Richard Thomson

Richard Thomson is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Air New Zealand since April 2021. Richard previously held the same position at Metlifecare and Air New Zealand. Richard has extensive experience in financial management, corporate finance, and strategic planning. Prior to their roles in the aviation industry, Richard worked as an Associate Director at PwC. Richard holds a BCom/LLB (Hons) degree from the University of Canterbury and a Post Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance from the Securities Institute of Australia.
