Sean Heyman

Sean Heyman is an experienced aviation professional with a diverse background in piloting and training. Currently, as an A320 Pilot and Deputy Fleet Manager at Air New Zealand since October 2016, Sean oversees a team of 400 pilots, manages policy development, and leads pilot recruitment and operations planning. Previous roles include Check First Officer, where Sean was responsible for training new pilots on the A320 fleet, and Recruitment Specialist, facilitating a comprehensive candidate selection process. Sean's earlier career includes positions as a First Officer at Tigerair, Check and Training Captain at Skippers Aviation, and Captain at Eagle Air Ltd, where responsibilities spanned training new pilots, operational safety, and customer service. Sean also served as a Freight & Charter Pilot at Air Discovery and worked as an instructor at Wings Flight Training, contributing to curriculum development and student training.
