Douglas K. has over 15 years of work experience in the field of engineering. Douglas began their career in 2006 as a Process Engineer l/ll/III, Process Science at DuPont. In 2015, they moved to Impossible Foods Inc. as a Senior Engineer, Process Engineering. In 2017, they were hired by Ripple Foods as a Manager, Process Engineering. In 2018, they joined Geltor Inc. as Director, Downstream & Formulation Processing. Most recently, they were hired by Air Protein as Director, Protein Processing in 2022.

Douglas K. obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) in Chemical Engineering from Columbia University in 2012, and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley in 2006. Douglas also holds certifications in cGMP & HACCP from International Haccp Certification Ltd. (obtained in March 2019), and a Six Sigma Green Belt from DuPont (obtained in June 2015).
