Gaile Gordon

Gaile Gordon is a seasoned leader in product development and research with extensive experience in the fields of computer vision and advanced perception. As Principal at Independent Consulting since March 2018, Gaile has provided expert guidance to established teams, startups, and investors, focusing on advanced perception for manufacturing and navigation. Current roles include Operating Partner at Air Street Capital, Expert in Residence at LDV Capital, and advising early-stage companies such as Brarista and Compound Eye. Previous positions include Chief Strategy Officer at Tandent Computer Vision, where Gaile developed intellectual property strategies for a significant patent portfolio, and Vice President of Location Products at Enlighted Inc., acquired by Siemens in 2018. Gaile's foundational experience includes pivotal roles at Intel Corporation and co-founding TYZX, Inc., which pioneered fast stereo vision systems. Gaile holds a PhD from Harvard University and both an MS and BS from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
