Mykia Richards M.ed

Mykia Richards, M.Ed, CSM, currently serves as a Quality Control Specialist at Air Tutors since March 2022. Previous experience includes serving as School Principal at POIC + RAHS, where responsibilities involved inspiring and leading a team, overseeing campus operations, and managing resources. Mykia held the role of Project Manager at Snack'M, directing project management through resource allocation and communication facilitation. Additional roles include teaching English at VIPKID, instructing 7th graders in humanities at Uplift Education, and participating as an AmeriCorps member with Teach For America. Earlier experience includes supporting teaching fellows as Deputy Campus Director at Citizen Schools and engaging middle school students as an AmeriCorps Teaching Fellow. Mykia holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a Master's in Education from Lesley University, and additional certifications in education and business.
