Ameya Deshpande

Ameya Deshpande has had two work experiences so far. From 2017 to the present, they have been working at AIRA MATRIX. Initially starting as a Software Engineer, they later became a Manager-2. In this role, they worked on deep learning projects involving the analysis of Whole Slide Images (WSI) for detecting and segmenting histologically significant regions. They also developed an object detection framework for classifying microbial colonies and contributed to developing a python-based inference framework.

Before joining AIRA MATRIX, Ameya worked at C-SKY Scientifics Pvt. Ltd. from 2014 to 2015 as an Embedded System Engineer. Their responsibilities included working on embedded system projects, establishing communication protocols, and designing MATLAB-based applications for controlling embedded modules and data logging.

Ameya Deshpande completed a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Don Bosco Institute of Technology (D.B.I.T) from 2010 to 2014. Later, Ameya pursued a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Computer Vision And Computational Photography from the Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar from 2015 to 2017.
