Lauren Valencia (Schelley)

Lauren Valencia (Schelley) has a long history of work experience. Lauren began their career in 2013 at JOEY Restaurant Group as a Shift Manager. In 2015, they joined iMatch Technical Services as a Technical Recruiter. From 2016 to 2021, they worked at DreamBox Learning, first as a Sr. Recruiter, Head of Talent Acquisition, then as a Manager, Head of Talent Acquisition, and finally as a Sr. Manager, Head of Talent Acquisition. Most recently, they began work at Airbase in 2021 as the Director, Global Talent Acquisition. In this role, they are responsible for building and scaling the Global TA team, creating and automating processes and recruiting best practices, owning and building the Talent Roadmap, and executing against global hiring initiatives in a hyper-growth environment.

Lauren Valencia (Schelley) graduated from Mount Si High School in 2009 with a General Studies degree. Lauren then attended Bellevue College from 2012 to 2015, where they earned an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) in Communication. In August 2019, they obtained a Certified Diversity and Inclusion Recruiter certification from AIRS, an ADP Company.
