Allison Sommer

Allison Sommer currently works in Business Operations, Supply at Airbnb since November 2024 and serves as a volunteer dog therapy team member for Pet Partners at Stanford Hospital since December 2021. Previously, Allison held the role of Vice President, Strategy & Business Development at Ahara Corporation from January 2023 to November 2024, and served as Vice President, Public Affairs & Business Development at The RealReal from July 2015 to January 2023, where significant contributions included creating a Government Relations team and establishing sustainability initiatives. Early career experiences encompass strategic roles at Maveron Venture Capital, Baidu, Inc., Birchbox, and Google, as well as working as a Congressional Assistant for the U.S. House of Representatives. Allison holds an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a BA in International Relations, Romance Languages, and Ballet from Washington University in St. Louis.
