Chunyan Song is a seasoned principal engineer with extensive experience in technology leadership, specializing in trust and safety at Airbnb since August 2019. As tech lead for risk ecosystems, Chunyan utilizes advanced AI technologies to enhance product security and oversees key initiatives in identity infrastructure and generative AI safety. Prior to Airbnb, Chunyan held senior engineering roles at Uber, where significant contributions included developing machine learning platforms for financial forecasting and building a fraud detection system that notably reduced losses. Chunyan's career also includes influential positions at GemShare, Twitter, and Microsoft, along with a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Chicago and a BS in Computer Science from Peking University.
