Matteo Sarzana

Matteo Sarzana is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in management, academia, and advising. Currently serving as Country Manager for Italy and Southern Europe at Airbnb since March 2025, Matteo also holds advisory roles with Rancilio Cube and IULM Innovation Lab. Formerly the General Manager for Deliveroo in Italy and Belgium from September 2015 to March 2025, Matteo played a crucial role in launching Deliveroo in Italy. As President of AssoDelivery, Matteo oversaw the food delivery industry's trade association. Extensive academic contributions include positions as an Adjunct Professor in Advertising Theory and Techniques at IULM University and Istituto Europeo di Design since 2012. With previous leadership roles at VML, Y&R, and Zooppa, Matteo has a strong background in advertising and digital agency operations, complemented by academic credentials from IULM University and Singularity University.
