Mick McConnell

Mick McConnell is an experienced design leader currently serving as the Head of Space at Airbnb and the Managing Principal & Chief Experience Officer at McConnell, a Brooklyn-based experience design firm. With a rich history in creative education, Mick holds positions as an adjunct professor at NYU Tandon School of Engineering and has previously taught at several prestigious institutions including Pratt Institute and Harvard. Additionally, Mick has contributed as an Advisory Board Member at HUSH and served as a Creative Advisor for Neol, a start-up focused on empowering creative minds. Former roles also include Head of North America at Superunion, Partner at Lippincott, and Senior Vice President at WeWork, where Mick led global design innovation efforts. Educational credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and special programs at SCI-Arc.
