Melissa Marcil has a diverse work experience in the fields of IT cybersecurity and information assurance. MELISSA has held various roles over the years, including IT Cyber Director at AirBorn Inc., Cyber Security Engineer at Leidos, and Information Assurance Cyber Solutions Engineer at the United States Air Force. Melissa also served as Chief Information Officer (CIO) at United States Airforce - Multiple Contracts, Lead Engineer at Chesapeake Technology International (CTI), Cyber Security Engineer at K-Force Government Solutions, and Knowledge Management Advisor at MEP. Additionally, they worked as Program Control Manager, IAM Level II, ISSO, and Cyber Security professional at CACI Federal Inc, and as an Intelligence Specialist at the U.S. Coast Guard. Melissa has a Master of Science in IT Management and has expertise in various security frameworks and methodologies, such as DIACAP, RMF, NIST, and FISMA.

Melissa Marcil MSITM has a diverse education history. MELISSA started with an Associates of Applied Science Degree in Computer Science from Northwest Vista College, which they obtained between 2010 and 2012. MELISSA then pursued a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration, with an emphasis in General Management, at TUI University from 2010 to 2013.

Following their bachelors, Melissa went on to pursue a Master of Science (M.S.) in Information Technology Management, with an emphasis in Information Assurance & Digital Forensics, at TUI University from 2012 to 2014.

In addition to their degrees, Melissa has obtained several certifications. In 2016, they obtained the PMP certification from the PMI-OC Project Management Institute Orange County Chapter. MELISSA also obtained the CompTia Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certification, the CompTia LINUX + certification, the CompTia CISCO Network & Routing Part I&II (CCNA) certification, the CompTia CASP certification, and the CompTia A+/Network +/Security + certification, all from CompTIA, in that same year.
