Dave Dober

Dave Dober has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Dave began their career as a midshipman at the U.S. Naval Academy in 1979. Dave served in the U.S. Navy, assuming various leadership roles such as Commanding Officer and Executive Officer of VFA-137 and Commanding Officer of VFA-97, where they received awards for outstanding performance and combat operations. Dave also served as a Civilian Deputy for Aircraft Carrier Requirements at OPNAV N88 and Commander, Naval Air Forces, Aircraft Carrier Requirements Officer. Dober later worked at Raytheon as a Business Development Manager and at the Secretary of Defense, Program Analysis and Evaluation as an Operations Research Systems Analyst. Prior to their current position, they were the KC-10 Program Director at Chromalloy Gas Turbine Corporation. Since 2017, Dober has been the Chief of Staff at Airborne Tactical Advantage Company (ATAC), responsible for improving organizational efficiency and overseeing customer needs and flight operations.

Dave Dober earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from the United States Naval Academy, where they studied from 1979 to 1983. Dave then pursued a Master's degree in Aeronautical Engineering from the Naval Postgraduate School, which they completed between 1990 and 1993. Later, in 1998 and 1999, they attended the U.S. Naval War College to obtain a Master's degree in National Security and Strategic Studies.
