Matt Rippen

Matt Rippen has extensive work experience in the aviation industry. Matt began their career as a Fighter Pilot in the United States Air Force in December 2020 and served until January 2022. Matt then transitioned to a leadership role as the Commander of the 159th Operations Group from May 2015 to January 2017. After that, they became the Commander of the 159th Maintenance Group from January 2017 to March 2019. Matt Rippen's most recent role in the Air Force was as the Commander of the 159th Fighter Wing from March 2019 to December 2020. In 2022, they joined ATAC (Airborne Tactical Advantage Company) and served as the Director of Operations. In 2023, they were promoted to the role of Director of Maintenance Operations.
