Process Engineer (Composite Manufacturing) at Airborne Technology

Nikolaos Zevlas has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries.

In 2012, they served in the Hellenic Air Force as part of their army service.

In 2015, Zevlas worked as a Laboratory Assistant at Ergotest, where they underwent comprehensive training in asphalt materials testing and performed laboratory tests.

Starting in 2016, they worked as a Quality Assurance Engineer at Pavetest, where they executed on-site measurements of pavements, prepared technical reports, and provided consultancy services to clients.

From 2018 to 2019, Zevlas joined INASCO - Integrated Aerospace Science Corporation as a Composite Engineer, where they contributed to a space manufacturing project involving composite materials and product assurance activities.

In 2019, they joined Altran as an Aerospace Materials Consultant/Engineer, focusing on materials used in the aerospace industry.

In 2021, Zevlas worked as a Project Engineer at Materialise, where they gained experience in project management.

Nikolaos is currently employed at Airborne as a Process Engineer in Composite Manufacturing, starting in June 2021.

Nikolaos Zevlas completed their Bachelor's degree in Materials Science at the University of Patras in 2016. After that, from 2017 to 2018, they pursued an MSc in Aerospace Materials at Cranfield University. In addition to their formal education, they obtained certifications in Problem Solving Techniques from LinkedIn in July 2020, and in Introduction to Composite Manufacturing from LinkedIn in June 2020.
