Aaron Rubel is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the aerospace and automotive industries. Currently serving as the Research & Technology Senior Manager for University Partnerships at Airbus since June 2009, Rubel has held various key positions, including University Research & Technology Partnerships Manager and Head of Aircraft Maintenance Programs Engineering. In addition, Rubel is the Chair of the Board for the Airbus Institute for Engineering Research at USC Viterbi School of Engineering. Prior to Airbus, Rubel was a Lead Engineer at Faurecia Automotive Seating, where responsibilities included leading engineering teams for the Chrysler Sebring and Dodge Avenger rear seats. Rubel began a career in engineering at Modern Engineering, focusing on product design for Chrysler Corporation. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Engineering Management from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology from Lawrence Technological University, and an Associate of Applied Science in Engineering Design from Macomb Community College.
