Jose L. Gil

Jose L. Gil is an experienced aerospace engineer with a comprehensive background in systems engineering and project management. Currently serving as Chief Engineer at Airbus since April 2019 and as Technical Lead at AIRBUS Defence & Space since March 2017, Jose oversees the Eurofighter Pilot Synthetic Training System. Jose's tenure at Eurofighter Simulation Systems began in April 2010, performing in roles such as System Engineer and System Integration Engineer, where responsibilities included analyzing user requirements and ensuring supplier compliance with quality standards. Prior experience includes a Development Engineer role at Indra, leading an integration team, and an Analyst position at Accenture, focusing on customer requirement analysis. Jose earned a Dipl. Ing. Telecommunication Engineering from Universidad de Valladolid between 1999 and 2006.
