Manuel Santaolalla-Diaz

Manuel Santaolalla-Diaz is an experienced professional with a strong background in supply chain management and engineering. Since June 2006, Manuel has been with Airbus, serving as the Spirit Belfast Task Force Leader and Head of Supply Chain Quality Procurement, overseeing more than 57 Tier I suppliers. Previously, Manuel held the role of Senior Field Engineer, focusing on Lean and Six Sigma improvements. In addition to experience at Airbus, Manuel served as Chairman and Vice Chairman at the Institute of Mechanical Engineers, contributing to strategy development and the establishment of the Spanish branch. Manuel's earlier career includes positions at Ford Motor Company and Arvinmeritor, with a solid educational foundation consisting of a Master of Science in Energy, Economics, and Environment from the University of Westminster, alongside a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Greenwich.
