Mirko Schaedlich

Mirko Schaedlich is an accomplished professional in the aerospace industry, currently serving as Head of Procurement Transport at Airbus Group since November 2010, where also holds the role of Sustainability Leader in Airbus Procurement. In this capacity, Mirko leads four transnational and cross-division project teams, managing over 60 individuals and driving initiatives to meet sustainability targets across the Airbus Supply Chain. Previous positions include Procurement Manager for Large Engines and Project Integration Manager for A350XWB Propulsion Systems, as well as roles at Heinkel Group and ISVR Consulting. An academic background includes a PhD in Engineering from the University of Southampton, a Research Fellowship at Penn State University, and various engineering degrees from Technische Universität Dresden and the University of Nottingham.
