Michelle Avila

Michelle Avila is an accomplished marketing communications professional with extensive experience in various roles. Currently serving as a Senior Marketing Communications Manager at Airgas since January 2023, Michelle previously held the position of Communications Manager and Head of Public Relations at Hypertherm Associates from March 2007 to December 2022, where significant contributions were made to global communication programs and corporate branding. Prior to that, Michelle was the Director of Public Relations at Coinstar from 1998 to 2003, collaborating with senior leadership on marketing strategies. Michelle's career began in television news as a producer, reporter, and writer for ABC, NBC, and CBS from 1992 to 1998, where skills in newscast development and management were honed. Michelle holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism with a minor in Communications from San Jose State University.
