Andre Ferreira

Andre Ferreira is a Robotics Software Engineer with extensive experience in developing software for autonomous aerial vehicles at Airgility since January 2022, focusing on autonomy algorithms and computer vision. Previously, Andre served as a Robotics Software Engineer Intern at Evatech, Inc., where responsibilities included the Autonomous Lawnmower Project, RTK GPS integration, and deep learning models for obstacle avoidance. Andre has also contributed to academia as a Teaching Assistant in physics at UniCEUB and gained technical support experience at Prodasen. Currently pursuing a PhD in Computational Sciences at Harrisburg University, Andre holds a Master's degree in Robotics Technology from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from UniCEUB.
