Adriaan Zijlstra

Adriaan Zijlstra has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Adriaan is currently the CEO of Airios, a company focused on creating climate controls for homes and buildings. Prior to this, they were a Supervisory Board member at VAMAFIL, spol.s r.o. from 2019 to 2022. From 2017 to 2019, they held the role of CCO / GM at Honeywell Customized Comfort Products, where they led the development and supply of monitoring and controlling solutions for optimal air conditions in residential and office spaces. Adriaan also served as the Vice President of Business Development at Hawaii Oceanic Technology, Inc. from 2013 to 2017. Adriaan Zijlstra has a background in marketing and business development, having worked in roles such as Marketing Director, Business Director, and Director of Business Projects at DSM. Adriaan also has experience as the General Manager of the Yarns Division at Beaulieu International Group. Prior to that, they served as the VP of South East Asia at BV Twentsche Kabelfabriek.

Adriaan Zijlstra has a Master's degree in Physics from Leiden University, which was completed in 1989. Adriaan also attended the China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) for Strategic Management, the IMD for an Executive Leadership program, and the TIAS School for Business and Society for Financials for Executives. Currently, Adriaan is pursuing the Governance Advanced Chamber Program in Business Administration and Management at Hemingway Professional Governance.
