Carlos Gutiérrez has over ten years of experience in account management and implementation, specifically in the field of business travel. Carlos worked at AirPlus International from 2009 to the present, starting as an Account & Implementation Manager for LATAM and eventually becoming the Head of Sales & Account Management. In these roles, Carlos developed skills in building relationships with customers, travel agencies, and business travel suppliers, while providing payment solutions and consulting services for business travel programs in Latin America. Before their time at AirPlus International, Carlos worked at Carlson Wagonlit Travel from 2004 to 2009 as an Account Manager, where they optimized savings for clients in business travel through consulting services and negotiated agreements with various suppliers.

Carlos Gutiérrez completed a Licenciatura en Mercadotecnia (Marketing) from Universidad Tecnológica de México from 1999 to 2001. Carlos later pursued a Posgrado en Mercadotecnia (Postgraduate Degree in Marketing) from the same university from 2001 to 2002. Additionally, Carlos obtained certifications in Advanced Business Development: Communication and Negotiation from LinkedIn Learning 2 in 2022 and Fundamentos del servicio de atención al cliente (Fundamentals of Customer Service) from LinkedIn in 2020.
