Christopher Oswald

Christopher Oswald has extensive experience in the aviation industry. Christopher currently holds the position of Senior Vice President for Safety and Technical Operations at Airports Council International - North America. In this role, they represent the interests of ACI-NA's members in the areas of safety, airport design and construction, airport operations, and airspace operations. Oswald also keeps the membership informed about regulatory and legislative changes affecting their airports.

Prior to their current role, Oswald worked as a Director at Jacobs Consultancy, where they led the firm's Airfield/Airspace practice and managed projects at various US and international airports. Christopher'sexpertise includes airfield design, operational analysis, and benefit-cost analysis.

Before joining Jacobs Consultancy, Oswald served as a Director at AvAirPros, where they acted as the airlines' liaison to the San Francisco International Airport's Runway Reconfiguration Program Office. Christopher provided advice and technical insight to the signatory airlines, ensuring their perspectives were incorporated into runway reconfiguration proposals.

Earlier in their career, Oswald worked as a Senior Consultant at P&D Consulting/DMJM Aviation and as an Associate at Leigh Fisher Associates.

Christopher Oswald began their education at Harvey Mudd College, where they attended from 1988 to 1992. However, no degree or field of study is specified for this period. Following their time at Harvey Mudd College, Christopher went on to pursue a Master's degree at The University of Texas at Austin. Christopher studied Civil Engineering with a focus on Transportation from 1992 to 1994.
