Eduardo Valencia is a seasoned executive in information technology, currently serving as Chief Information Officer at the Metropolitan Airports Commission since June 2016, overseeing systems and technology for the Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport and six regional airports. Valencia holds leadership roles in various professional organizations, including Immediate Past Chair of the Business and Information Technology Committee for Airports Council International - North America and serves on the Airport Council International World Airport IT Standing Committee. Previously, Valencia was the Chief Technology Officer for the State of Minnesota, where significant achievements included the successful consolidation of independent IT organizations and the management of extensive budgets. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree from the Technological Leadership Institute at the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Spanish from the University of North Dakota.
