Chathra Wickramasinghe

Chathra Wickramasinghe has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning multiple industries. Starting in 2005, they worked as a Project Manager at La Trobe University. From 2007 to 2010, they held various roles at the Australian Government Department of Human Services. In 2010, they became a Project Manager at the Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group. From 2011 to 2013, they served as an Assistant Director at the Australian Government Department of Finance. Chathra then moved to the Civil Aviation Safety Authority, where they held the positions of Senior Advisor Enterprise Information and Data from 2013 to 2015, and Section Head - Information and Data Services from 2015 to 2018. In 2018, they became a Strategic Advisor - Information Services (Independent Contractor) at the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. In 2020, they joined Downer Professional Services as an ICT Strategy Advisor to the Department of Defense. In 2021, they took on the role of Information and Analytics Services - Senior Manager at Airservices Australia, and later transitioned to the position of Head of Strategy in 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Transformation and SRO - Operational Technology and Cyber at Airservices Australia.

Chathra Wickramasinghe completed a Master of Management degree at The Australian National University in 2017. Prior to that, Chathra obtained a Diploma of Project Management from BlueVisions, NSW in 2010. Chathra also holds a Bachelor of Computer Science (Honours) degree from La Trobe University, obtained between 2003 and 2006. Additionally, Chathra has obtained several certifications, including TOGAF® 9.0 Certification Program from The Open Group in 2020, Certified SAFe® 4 Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc. in 2019, PRINCE 2 from APMG International in 2013, and a Certified Practising Project Manager (CPPM) - AIPM from the Australian Institute of Project Management in 2010.
